Yeah I would say that as a connection seeker, whilst Facebook is good at doing this for general things like group chats and events, they often don’t provide enough specificity.
Reddit’s much better with that. I find that, even though I’m not on Reddit, I can get lot’s of info on Reddit groups that provide information on something specific (i.e. Japanese cars).
As a connection seeking to find something specific, Reddit is better imo than Facebook.
